JEE-Advanced 2015 Result Declared on 18th-June

NEW DELHI: The much awaited results of JEE (Advanced) were declared by IIT-Bombay hours before the actual declared time. But complete results were not made available. The students will be able to check their individual results at 10 am on Thursday.
According to IIT Bombay, a student of IIT-Kanpur zone topped in the country. Satvat Jagwani of IIT-Kanpur zone bagged AIR 1. Satvat belongs to Satna.

Janak Agarwal of IIT-Delhi zone secured AIR 2. Mukesh Pareekh of Indore got AIR 3. Kamana Nagendra Reddy of IIT Madras zone emerged on the fourth spot nationally. Among the girls, the country topper was Krati Tiwari who got AIR 47. She also belonged to Indore.

IIT Madras zone proved its upper hand over other zones as five of its students made to the list of top 10 successful students followed by IIT-Delhi whose two students could achieve this feat. One student each from IIT-Bombay and IIT Roorkee made their place in the top 10 list.

In terms of the maximum number of students qualified in any particular zone, it was IIT-Bombay which took the lead. In IIT Bombay zone, 6838 students qualified JEE Advanced 2015 followed by IIT Madras with a total of 4928. On the third and the third and the fourth spot were IIT-Delhi and IIT-Kharagpur zones respectively.

Zone-wise JEE (Advanced) 2015 Result Analysis

A total of 4511 students from IIT-Delhi and 3115 students from IIT-Kharagpur cracked the tough exam. On the fifth spot was IIT-Kanpur of which 3085 students qualified the exam. Amongst the seven old IITs, the lowest number of students qualified were 1445 of IIT-Guwahati.
Among top 100 student list, 34 students from IIT Bombay zone made their place followed by IIT Madras zone of which 28 students found success. Despite giving the topper only five students from IIT-Kanpur zone made their place in top 100.

IIT-Roorkee fared better than IIT Delhi in this regard. In top 100 list, 17 students from IIT Roorkee zone and 12 students from IIT-Delhi zone got sucess. Only one student from IIT Guwahati zone found place in top 100 list of successful students.
The successful students will fill 10,006 seats of 18 IITs and ISM Dhanbad. This year IIT-Bombay had conducted JEE Advanced. Students can see the result on http://www.jeeadv.iitb.ac.in.

Total of 124,741 students had registered for the examination.
