The new pattern was finally decided by IITs and CBSE and divided in two-parts which are given below:
1. JEE-Mains 2013 Exam:
50% Weightage of Class 12TH Board Exam - 50% Weightage of JEE-Mains Exam and to select approx. 50,000 students for JEE-Advanced Exam.
2. JEE-Advanced 2013 Exam:
Students who qualify JEE-Advanced 2013 exam, only those will be considered for IIT rankings.
And others are ranked for NITs and IIITs on the basis of 12TH Board Exam, JEE-Mains & JEE-Advanced. 40% Weightage of Class 12TH Board Exam - 30% Weightage of JEE-Mains Exam and 30% Weightage of JEE-Advanced Exam.
