JEE Main 2018 Paper 1 Official Answer Key Released at jeemain.nic.in

JEE Main 2018: The answer key for the JEE Main Examination (Paper 1), that is organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, has been released on the official website of the board i.e. jeemain.nic.in. The CBSE had organised the JEE Main 2018 entrance examination on April 8 (offline mode) and April 15, 16 (online mode), earlier this month, for candidates seeking admissions to BE, B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Planning in top engineering and technological institutes in the country.

The answer key and the recorded responses released by the board for the JEE Main offline examination will be available on the official website till April 27th 2018. The process to download the JEE Main 2018 answer key from the official website is very easy and simple.

The candidate will first have to visit the official JEE Main 2018 website i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in then they have to click on the respective link to download answer key/recorded response. There will be redirected to the login page. Enter the login credentials correctly. The answer keys will be displayed on the screen.

The students who disagree with the answer keys and feel that some may be wrong can challenge the same by 27 April. The Central Board of Secondary Education has specified the procedure which involves mailing the challenge with proof and online payment of the specified fee. The candidates who are submitting an objection will have to pay a sum of Rs 1,000 per question till 11:59 pm on April 27, 2018.

This year, approximately 10.4 lakh students had appeared in the JEE Main 2018 offline exam. More than 2 lakh students had appeared for the online exam. Those who appeared for the online exam were sent the answer key and recorded response on their registered email id.

Official JEE Main 2018 Paper 1 Answer Key - Released

The JEE Main result for Paper I is scheduled to be declared on 30 April in online mode. The candidates must note that the All India Ranks obtained in JEE Main will also be announced along with the result. The candidates will also be able to download their rank cards. However, the result for Paper II is likely to be announced in the first week of May.

This year, 2,24,000 candidates will be eligible to appear for the entrance exam that allows for admissions to the IITs. The candidates can get admissions through the common counselling held by JoSAA – Joint Seat Allocation Authority for the NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and the IITs. The JoSAA counselling will tentatively be held from June 19.

  1. JEE Main Counselling Dates 2018: JoSAA Counselling Schedule. JEE Main Counselling & Seat Allotment 2018 is scheduled to start in the month of June 2018. JEE Main 2018 Counselling is held concurrently with JEE Advanced Counselling and is called as JoSAA.
